Cotta Nostra

Cotta Nostra is the new guy in town. This little gem of a coffee shop is in the Ahwatukee/Chandler area. They’re in their soft opening phase, so make sure to follow their page for the latest updates (they’re currently opening at 8am). With beans from Pair Cupworks, you’re in for a treat! I tried the Maple & Ash Latte (featuring activated charcoal, cinnamon, and gold flakes) and the Mango Matcha Latte—both were on point! Chill spot, delicious drinks, and super friendly staff. Once they get up and running I know they’ll do great! Go check them out and spread the love!

I've been to this new coffee shop three times now, and each visit has been genuinely amazing. You can tell that the barista has hand-crafted the menu because he puts effort and time into every drink. Each drink is unique and has its own enjoyable qualities. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are always friendly. It quickly became my favorite spot in the area—highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already!

We stumbled on this shop which is still in its soft-open phase, but we were really impressed. The space feels really clean cut and the menu has creative seasonal drinks that use unique ingredients (miso, charcoal, etc). Excellent espresso, excited for this shop's future!

Finally a good matcha place in Tukee! They use premium quality matcha, have a unique selection of drink options, and all the syrups are organic and made in-house. Also love that the drinks are not too sweet. Staff is super friendly and helpful. This is the vanilla rose matcha. We also tried the maple and ash latte (not pictured) which was good too! They are still in their soft opening phase, so no pastries yet, but we will definitely be back to try other drink flavors like the mango matcha.

I was around the area dying of thirst with no water in the car (bad decision) and my Yelp community helped me locate This gem in Ahwatukee foothills. I showed up to park (plenty of parking for a small plaza) and thought that they were closed because the window tinting was so dark and I couldn’t see inside. Thankfully the door is unlocked. I was greeted by the barista immediately and instructed me to order on the device. The menu was clear and the ordering process was simple. I ended up ordering the yuzu mango sparkling Fresca. I took my first sip and I cool down immediately. It was a slightly bitter flavor from the matcha, but the yuzu mango flavor balanced it out. I tried not to stir it too much, but the drink got sweeter towards the bottom. P.S. - With a place painted in all black, it was surprising not stuffy in the middle of a hot AZ summer

Big fan of this new gem in Ahwatukee! They offer thoughtfully curated drinks for the adventurous and also tasty beverages for those who like more traditional coffee offerings. Ask the owner about the drinks, I’m sure you’ll learn something new!

I ordered the maple and ash latte and loved it! It was well-balanced, mellow, and smooth overall. I definitely think this place has huge potential—I can tell the owner puts a lot of thought into the menu and is focused on bringing in more unique coffee and matcha drinks. I’ll definitely recommend this place and visit again!

Great coffee shop in town! I got a dirty black sesame latte and it is excellent! Not too sweet and you can actually taste the espresso in it (how coffee should be)! There is plenty of comfortable seating and would be a great spot to meet up with a friend for a chat with great coffee. There is a kiosk at the counter to place your order, so that's pretty neat as well. I'm excited to try a matcha latte on my next visit. Definitely recommend checking this place out!
